Word.
Hello, my name is Shayla! I moved to Fort Gibson about a year ago and I absolutely love it here. I recently got engaged to my best friend! We have three dogs, Xena, Sho and Little Man, one hedgehog, Luna, and two cats, Gin and Juice. I have worked a lot with rescues but this is my first job in a pet clinic. It is definitely my passion, and I hope to continue my education in this field. I am a video game girl, and a homebody ,and love spending time with my family!
Cadence
My name is Cadence and I have been in the veterinary field for the past four years. I enjoy learning new things every day and getting to expand my knowledge on all things big and small. I am originally from a small town called Haskell, but recently moved to Muskogee. I have two precious fur babies back home named Reba Jolene and Ralph Leroy. When I'm not working, you'll find me fishing, cooking, tanning on a boat, and going on road trips.
Faith Riley
Dr. Faith Riley is from Chicago, Il., but spent her youth and young adult years living and traveling throughout rural areas of the midwest and western United States (including Fort Gibson, OK), where livestock and animals are integral parts of nearly everyone’s daily lives. Riley's calling to veterinary medicine was born in her desire to serve rural and/or underserved areas and enable people to help their animals live happy, healthy, and productive lives. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to Florida where she worked in shelter medicine, served on the Pasco Hernando Veterinary Medicine Association board, and eventually opened her own practices offering small animal care and a mobile large animal veterinary service. In 2020 and all the chaos that came with it, Riley realized the that best way to live your life is in a place you love, so she and her family packed up and headed back to Oklahoma! She remains dual licensed in the sates of Florida and Oklahoma. Hobbies include: falling off horses, herding cats, petting cows and dressing up her Doberman.
Megan Stuart-Lopez
Dr. Lopez is an Oklahoma native who enjoyed the hometown experience and was active in FFA, 4-H, and band throughout her childhood. After graduating from Eufaula High School in 2012, she attended Oklahoma State University where she received her bachelor’s in animal science in 2016 and her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2020. Shortly after earning her DVM, she married her best friend, Antonio. Together they enjoy serving on the worship team for their church and leading a young adults bible study. In her spare time, Dr. Lopez loves listening to audiobooks, knitting, and spending time with family.
Bobbi Musgrove
Dr. Musgrove affectionately calls herself an Air Force brat. Both her parents attended the Air Force Academy for college and her father served 18 years prior to retiring to become a professor at Northeastern State University. Dr Musgrove met and then later married her soul-mate while attending high school in Tahlequah, OK. Dr Musgrove graduated from Oklahoma State University with her DVM in 2007. The Musgrove family thoroughly enjoys living in Cherokee County. Some of Dr Musgrove's hobbies include backyard poultry, gardening, hiking and fishing. There are too many pets loved by Dr Musgrove and her household to share!
